Training
Whether you are providing the training in-house or out sourcing it to an external trainer, you will still need to consider what type of issues you would like to be covered in the training sessions. How long will you run your sessions for? Will your mentors complete training before meeting their mentee? Is training compulsory?
Mentor Training Check List

This check list can be used by those just starting a program or those wanting to evaluate their current program. Mentoring in the Community- TAFE training Course
TAFE provides an 8 week mentor training program which is an accredited course. This course is used by programs which include the Plan-it Youth mentoring programs and Millers Point mentoring program. Click here to view the course content.
