Fundraising on a shoestring  -  the basics with Chantal LewisChantal Lewis

Wednesday 16 May, 2012

1pm - 2pm AEST

Chantal has more than 15 years fundraising experience. She spent ten of these in the arts sector; starting out at the Bell Shakespeare Company and Art Gallery of NSW before leading the team at the Sydney Theatre Company. Most recently she has been running fundraising programs for humanitarian organisations Medecins Sans Frontieres and the Australian Research   Alliance for Children and Youth.

She has been the 'lone raiser' -  squeezing fundraising into an already busy work schedule. She has wrestled  the 'always a Brides-Maid syndrome' as a mid-level fundraiser wondering when she'd ever get her seat at the grown-ups table and the inevitable fear that came with finally realising that goal.

Mostly, she has helped her organisations adapt to new fundraising practices, make the most of the expertise and connections of senior staff and boards - and importantly, avoided stepping on toes in the process.

This webinar will provide practical tips to help your organisation get those funds to deliver comprehensive, sustainable youth programs.
