    Peter and Vince are from the Break Through Mentoring Program, which is a youth employment mentoring program linking disadvantaged young people with employment mentors who are currently employed in the local community. Vince became a mentor with the desire to "pay forward" his experience of being mentored when he was younger. Vince has helped Peter become more motivated, confident and driven. [ More... ]

    Megan and Simone are part of the Community Mentoring Program, which is a school-based mentoring program in South Australia. Megan, who is a former student of the school, has been a mentor for the past 4 years and a mentor to Simone for the past 2 years.     Amy and Mel & Di are part of the Kids Friends Program which is run by Barnardos. Amy and Mel & Di meet once a week and they thoroughly enjoy their time together.     Cody and Paul

    Cody and Paul are from the Plan-It Youth Mentoring Program, run by the NSW Department of Education and Training.  These two were well-matched from the outset. They found a great deal of common ground with their sporting interests but this has evolved into a positive outlook on life and its uncertainties.  It's been great to watch them joke about trivial matters but then concentrate on the more serious matters with common ambition.     Ashlea and Lise are part of the Plan - it Youth Riverina Program. They hit it off right from the beginning, mainly because of Ashlea’s willingness to tackle something new and because Lise is great listener and is prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ for her mentees.     Perth To Paradise - DONE!

    Jack has cycled into Surfers Paradise to finish his epic across Australia bike ride - cycling 4,500 kms in just 30 days to raise funds and awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia. The video is a wonderful snapshot of the journey from start to finish! We would like to congratulate Jack and his family.     Noosa Mentor Summit

    Thank you to everyone who attended the Noosa Mentor Summit! The Summit was held on Saturday, 21 March 2009 with about 40 participants who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The video is also used to promote their organisation through YouTube. The video is a great example of how you can promote your organisation throughout the worldwide community.
