Call for Abstracts
Submitting your abstract is easy; click on the links below to submit an abstract and provide us with a maximum 150 word description of what you wish to present.
The theme of the conference is:
Innovation. Evidence. Network.
The aim of the conference is to:
- Encourage innovation to create effective solutions to challenges facing youth mentoring programs.
- Provide evidence to show how youth mentoring programs are meeting the needs of Australia’s Youth.
- Strengthen our network of youth mentoring programs to ensure it supports all stakeholders; community, practitioners, programs and young people.
The presentation must address ibe if the themes of the conference. The two presentation streams are:
Show and Tell abstracts
Show and Tell sessions are designed to showcase and celebrate innovative models of mentoring programs. Show and Tell presentations will be 1 hour in length. Click here to submit an abstract.
Professional Development abstracts
Professional Development sessions are designed to be learning experiences for practitioners, academics, teachers, social workers, youth workers, policy developers and mentors. They can be based on evidence from research, program evaluations or another professional development paper. Professional Development presentations are 1 hour in length. The deadline for submitting abstracts is 1 April 2012 5pm AEST. Presenters are expected to register for the conference.
First round offers will be made on 19th April 2012. Presenters who wish to accept their offers will have 14 days to complete their registration for the conference before their spot will be offered to the waiting list.
